Corbin Economic Development Agency and Southeast Kentucky Industrial Development Authority, Inc. are co-hosting the Kentucky Department of Energy Development and Independence symposium series “Economic Development Through BioEnergy.”
This collaborative conference designed to inform businesses and entrepreneurs of opportunities in the biomass and biofuels industries.
The symposium will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Corbin Center for Technology & Community Activities, 222 Corbin Center Drive, Corbin.
This collaborative conference will also provide an opportunity for business owners and entrepreneurs to learn about mandates that are driving bioenergy markets as well as federal and state resource organizations that provide financing and marketing support.
