The US Department of Energy is carrying out a reverse auction to distribute $4.6 million in incentives for cellulosic biofuels production projects.
The incentives will be available to support facilities producing 10 million gallons of cellulosic biofuel a year within three years of being awarded funds.
Projects hoping to take part are being invited to send in their eligibility details by September 20, 2010.
