The University of Hawaii at Manoa’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources received $6 million from the U.S. Department of Energy.
The funds will be used for a project that aims to develop sustainable biofuel feedstocks. The project will include investigating tropical grasses and assessing the environmental impacts of growing bioenergy crops.
